Brad Paisley gets a little Packer Help in Concert

January 24th, 2011

The temperature was below zero as BRAD PAISLEY kicked off his H2O Frozen Over tour in Green Bay, Wisconsin last week, but he warmed up the sold-out crowd with a ton of hits. Brad also had a little help singing “I’m Still a Guy” at the show from Green Bay Packers quarterback AARON RODGERS. Of course, the crowd went wild when Aaron joined Brad onstage.  Maybe Brad helped inspire the Packers, who Sunday won the NFL’s NFC Championship and will face the Pittsburgh Steelers in Super Bowl 45 on February 6th.  Brad’s tour continues this week with five shows in Canada.

January 14th, 2011

RASCAL FLATTS launches the 2011 leg of their Nothing Like This tour Friday in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and they wait to get back out there in front of their fans. Whether they’re on the road or in the studio, the Flatts pay attention to what their audiences want. Guitar player JOE DON ROONEY tells us, “We’re so open to hearing all the advice from them and all their opinions because I think they’re valid. And we take a lot of that, and we run with it.”

Rascal Flatts will be performing a few new tunes from their latest album, Nothing Like This, on the tour, as well as their big hits like “Bless the Broken Road” and “These Days.” Says Joe Don, “We’ve been blessed and fortunate to have a huge group of people rally around these songs that have come out the past 10 years.” LUKE BRYAN and CHRIS YOUNG are both hitting the road with Rascal Flatts on this trek.
